a hand in cooking; no AandE, hope?

The title's really lame this time because I can't be bothered to be creative with it. What it is supposed to mean is...

I'm finally cooking something solid. Rice...Ahahahaha. Who doesn't know how to cook rice? Well, it's Japanese rice so it's kinda weird. You've got to like let it soak for 30minutes to an hour before putting it in the rice cooker. Then after it's finished cooking in the RC, you've got to let it steam for 15 minutes plusminus. And then you've got to use it real fast because the rice can't be left for too long in the cooker or it'll change colour.
Sigh. I wonder if I make it now, I put into the refrigerator and eat tomorrow. I wonder if there will be a colour change. O.o
So, anyone who eats it, pray you don't die or enter into the Accident and Emergency Unit.
And yes, right now, I am sick but not that bad.
I can still breathe okay. But I have to play the trumpet each time my nose gets blocked.
So, I skipped my Interact exam and even skipped going to sweetmae's house to get some sleep. Didn't even do any good. I still feel like dying. Aaaah, at least I skipped out on a day of unhealthy junk food. :P
About skipping the Interact int/exam, just so most of you know, it doesn't make a very huge impact on me. I've decided long ago after joining Interact for some time that the club is fake and plastic. Hope no Interactors kill me over this because this is my honest opinion.
